Why I started Llattice
I’m Jackson, a self-taught developer who spent a few years doing freelance web work before starting Llattice. The pattern showed up again and again: a small business would pay an agency a few thousand dollars for a website, wait weeks to see a draft, and then get quietly ignored the moment the invoice was paid. Need the opening hours updated? That’s a new quote. Found a typo? Good luck finding anyone who answers the phone.
The other option wasn’t much better. Plenty of owners tried building it themselves on a DIY platform instead, and ended up losing evenings they didn’t have to a page builder, on top of actually running their business.
Llattice started in Albury as my answer to both problems: a website that’s properly built around your business, hosted and maintained for you, and looked after by someone who picks up the phone when something needs to change.
How it works today
It’s still a lean operation by design. There’s no account manager, no support ticket queue, and no handoff between departments, just a direct line to the person who built your site and who you’ll keep talking to for as long as you’re a customer.
What you get that most agencies won’t offer
- A flat monthly plan covering hosting, security, and small updates, with no surprise invoices.
- Changes turned around in days, not weeks.
- No lock-in contract. If you ever want to leave, you can, and you’ll take your content with you.
Why it matters
Small businesses are the ones that actually show up: the ones that sponsor the local footy team and remember your name at the counter. They deserve a website that works as hard as they do, without needing a marketing budget or a few spare weeks to get it sorted.
